ANALYSIS OF BEARING CAPACITY OF CONCRETE-FILLED SQUARE STEEL TUBE COLUMN UNDER AXIAL LOAD

  • The concrete-filled square steel tube column under axial loads is studied based on the unified strength theory. The ultimate load calculation formula for the concrete-filled square steel tubes column is derived. Comparisons are made between the simplified method and large amount of test data both at home and abroad, which verified the correctness of the theoretic formula. This result provides a theoretic basis for calculating the bearing capacity of this sort of column.
