  • The finite element method is used to analyze, in a three dimensional way, the deformation property of pile group of a composite foundation under the action of a horizontal load in different soil layers conditions.Comparing the property of ax ial strain under different conditions, such as different material properties of soil layers, pile length, pile diameter and mattress thickness.It.s obtained the variation law for the position in the pile of the composite foundation where fracture would most probably occur along with the change of different soil layer condition.
