The damages of a dyeing factory subjected to fire disaster were described.Safety situation of the building was evaluated according to the relative codes.Some problems on the examination and safety evaluation of prestressed concrete structure were discussed.According to the actual damages to the building, it was proposed that the damaged structure should be reinforced with some constituted measures, which could be given by the concept design.Dangerous situation of the fired structures were eliminated after the consolidation.
