Based on the experimental research on 7 simple beams reinforced with HRB400 steel bars and 2 beams reinforced with HRB335 steel bars,the development of crack of the testing members is observed and crack width is written down in different loads and the testing results are discussed and analyzed.The results show that the crack with of HRB400 steel bars reinforced concrete beams is bigger than that of HRB335 steel bars reinforced concrete beams with the same bearing capacity. A formula according to the testing results of crack wideth under the state of service ability is deduced.The testing results of crack width are compared with the calculation results of crack width using the code formula and the deduced formula,the results show the calculation results of crack width using the deduced formula is safe.
