Based on the presentation Structural Design of the Burj Dubai Tower by William F.Baker on the International Seminar of Design and Construction Technologies of Super High-Rise Buildings,which has been held in Shanghai on May 15~16,2006,a brief introduction to the skyscraper is given from several aspects:structural design,wind engineering and foundation.By comparing with other super high-rise buildings,some conclusions and suggestions are offered.
