By quasi-static test and finite element ALGOR program, it has been done that the experimental research under low-cycle repeating horizontal load, non-linear finite element analysis.And the damage form and mechanical performance of T-joint have been studied. The results of analysis indicate that T-joint has better ductility, the difference of the rigidity of flange has great influence on ductility;the shapes of P- curve are stable and full, T-joint has perfect seismic performance;the thickness of flange has great influence on the strength of T-joint.
