EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ON AXIAL COMPRESSIVE BEHAVIORS FOR TIMBER COLUMN STRENGTHENED WITH CFRP

  • Eight groups of timber columns components reinforced by carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) with various enwrapping forms have been studied at laboratory.The enhancing effect of their axial compressive bearing capacity and the failure mode are investigated.Based on the data collected in the test,load -strain curves have been drawn and analysed.Finally,the influence of quantity,space and wide of CFRP on test result is discussed.
