  • It is easier to control the deflection and crack of the RC beam strengthened with prestress than the one without prestress. In order to study the forced performance of RC beams strengthened with prestressed CFRP, it is analyzed that the effect of different prestress levels on the ultimate bearing capacity of the beam, section moment-curvature and the beam depth of relative compressive zone. And it is also discussed that all the factors influencing the strength, stiffness and failure mode of the RC beams strengthened with CFRP.
