Hidden beam should be designed between columns for frame supported flat plate structure(FSFPS)according to the new codes and punching shear reinforcements are set to immprove the punching shear strength of the slab column connections. To study the calculative methods for the slab, the spot experiment of a pilot project is done. The test result shows that EFM(equivalent frame method) still is an effective method on studying slab of frame supported flat plate structure. Based on which some design proposals for the new system are put forward.
