DESIGN OF WANGJING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PARK(PHASE-Ⅱ)

Located in Wangjing Science and Technology Park,Wangjing Project(Phase-Ⅱ)is an office building for high technology firms.The project is comprised of three buildings with similar plans and a connector.Two of them line up in the north of the plot,the other sites at the south and the connector is analogous to a staircase which is used forlobby,coffee break,commerce and management.There is a passage in the north for fire protection,so the entrance of A building is on the 2nd floor.The connector provides a space analogous to staircase from 1st to 2nd floor which meets the function and enriches architectural space as well.Two main buildings express the feeling of rectangles moving along a track and the other building is made up of glass curtain wall with glass fin and a double-skin structural-glazing system to form a gradual change from transparent to translucent.Low-radiation print glass is used for the main buildings and a particular pattern comes from refraction of light.huge block has been revised to a sheet to be realized more easily.The layout is designed peripherally in order to form a system and create a square at the north of Wangjing Project(Phase-Ⅰ) as well.Landscape runs through the entire plot and makes a good relationship between the two projects.
