Abstract

Abstract

Starting with the reconstruction of old industrial buildings located on south bank of Suzhou River, the authors put forward some questions about inheritance and development of humanistic history, cultural circumstance, and city imagebuilding,which should be taken into account during the planning and reform of old urban areas.
