  • Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer seldom used in strengthening steel structures reinforcement due to lack of experimental research and theoretic support. This article introduced a series of experiments of strengthening steel structures with CFRP. The mechanical properties of some kinds of CFRP materials were given. The carrying capacity, loaddisplacement curves of steel beam with different reinforced methods were obtained. The results may be a reference for engineering application.
