A SYSTEMATICAL STUDY ON THE DESIGN OF EXTERNALLY PRESTRESSED STRUCTURE

  • The concept and features of externally prestressed concrete structure are expounded. The design method of externally prestressed structure are systematically illuminated, including the tendon profiles, analysis of internal force at both the serviceability and ultimate state, the evaluation of prestressing loss, the design of deviator and local bearing capacity.Durability and fire resistance problem are also considered. By doing the above work, a foundation is laid for this new structure to be popularized and applied in our country.
