CHECKOUT AND STRENGTHENING FOR THE MAIN MILL BUILDING OF A STEELWORKS

  • An overall checkout has been carried out for the main mill building of a steelworks.A strengthening design has been brought forward for the structure. It can be concluded from the calculation that there are not enough load combinations to find out the most dangerous internal force in usual design manual and design procedure. A practical calcuation method of residual fatigue life of the crane girder is also put forward in the paper.
