THEORETICAL MODEL FOR THE ANALYSIS OF FIRE RESISTANCE OF BAR-REINFORCED CONCRETE-FILLED SQUARE STEEL COLUMNS

  • On the basis of deciding the stress-strain relations of steel, bars and core concrete of bar-reinforced concrete filled square steel tubes, a theoretical model for the analysis of fire resistance has been put forward.The model has been validated by testing results.There is a good agreement between the two.The method introduced in this paper may be a reference for fireproof design of this sort of column.
