The preparation method of polyvinyl alcohol ( PVA ) fiber reinforced high-strength concrete was
investigated. PVA fiber reinforced high-strength concrete with several different fiber volume contents were prepared.
It was analyzed the influence of PVA fiber volume contents on the compressive strength and splitting strength,as well
as the failure characteristics of high-strength concrete. The curve of strength was drawn,which was changed with the
age of concrete. The results show that the brittleness and splitting strength can be improved in a large extent.
Therefore,PVA fiber is a kind of excellent composite material which can contribute to improve the property of
concrete.
