Now the“two-phase and three-level”seismic design method,which has been used in the calculation of
ecological composite-wall structure system,has failed to meet the modern owner’s personalized requirement of
building structure performance target. Combining three special seismic defence lines of ecological composite-wall
structure with the theoretical framework of seismic design based on performance,and based on yield displacement
value of the three seismic defence lines,the performance level of structure was quantified. Applying the inverted
triangular distribution of lateral force to the cantilever column of constant section,and the displaced shape of the
column was regarded as the initial mode of lateral displacement; combining with the displacement response spectrum,
the specific steps of the displacement-based design method were put forward and three performance targets design of a
example were calculated. Example shows that the proposed multiple ecological composite wall structure displacementbased
seismic design method is simple and practical,which can be designed and calculated according to different
performance levels.
