The flexural behaviors of four recycled concrete T-shaped cross-section superposed beams and one natural
aggregate concrete T-shaped cross-section superposed beam were contrasted by full-scale test. The experimental
results showed the features of the flexural mechanism of these recycled aggregate concrete superposed beams were
similar to those of the natural aggregate concrete superposed beams; the plane section assumption of normal section
was still applicable for the recycled concrete superposed beams. The currentCode for Design of Concrete Structures
( GB 500102010) was still suitable for calculating the ultimate bearing capacity of the recycled aggregate concrete
T-shaped cross-section superposed beams.
