MICRO SPATIAL COGNITIVE OF INHABITANT IN OLD COMMUNITY: THE INVESTIGATION FOR THE WORKER COMMUNITY OF THE 2ND MACHINERY PLANT IN JIAWANG DISTRICT,XUZHOU
The transformation of low-income workers community is an important issue for a city. How to break through
the traditional policy and start from the full understanding of the residents is an urgent problem to be solved. In this
process,attention should be paid to the cultural construction and reconstruction of value. As a result,the
sustainability of transformation can be ensured. The cognitive map is a way to research community microcosmic space
image of workers by conducting study on demands of residents. Through summing up the cognitive image of
community residents,it is put forward suggestions on rational planning and reconstruction.
