It is a basic trend of building and housing industrialization,promoted by Chinese government,and
developing precast concrete structures can realize the total architectural goals of low carbon,green,environmental
protection and energy saving. Based on the integral disassembling features of precast shear wall systems( PSWS) ,this
paper presents the fundamental design principle of vertical connections for the PSWS. Structural details of seven types
of these connections are systematically summed up. including their respective advantages and disadvantages. Precast
shear wall structure of the existing vertical connection form has been used in practical engineering,but there are still
shortcomings,which needs further research and development of more reasonable connection forms.
