RECONSTRUCTION OF THE TRADITIONAL LANDSCAPE IMAGERY OF JINGDEZHEN PORCELAIN STREET

Jingdezhen exactly is a porcelain-based city with distinct personality． Jingdezhen is millenary porcelain city， but the landscape image of its most important street: porcelain streetis faced with further decline now． How to get a specific and vivid landscape image that can embody the continuation of times，and make a rapid development in the modern society are the urgent problems to be solved，which are worth further researching． Based on this background， the research starting from the current theory point of view of the city image，combined with related theories and practices，also with the city development plan of Jingdezhen，it was proposed the design strategy for reconstruction of overall space form and landscape image the porcelain street． In order to keep the unity of the space dimension and continuity in the time dimension，to arouse the peoples collective memory，it was also put forward feasible solutions for constructing the traditional vitality and traditional landscape imagery of the porcelain street．
