In continued construction of tall building, the local high elevation transfer is usually used to meet the requirements of usage changes. According to actual conditions, some fundamentals and details of seismic design were presented. Engineering practice and calculation results by theory show that local high elevation transfer is reasonable and feasible, and can realize the aim of security, reliability and economy.
