The buckling restrained braces were erected on the integral frame consisted of six stories reinforced concrete frame and one story steel frame added at the top. The design of buckling restrained brace was discussed. The performance under frequent earthquake and rare earthquake of the integral structure was calculated and comparatively analyzed by finite element software. The analysis showed that the working performance and the frame torsion were improved,interstory displacement of frame was controled effectively by using the buckling restrained brace.
