Aiming at a double-tower connected structure,which model was built with NosaCAD and was transferred
into ABAQUS finite-element model,construction simulation analysis and elasto-plastic time history analysis were
performed. Based on behavior of the structure under rare earthquakes with intensity 7,the displacement,inter-story
drifts and distribution of concrete damage patterns of the structure are obtained. The result indicates that under rare
earthquakes,the maximum inter-story drifts satisfied the requirement of the Chinese seismic design code. The order
and distribution of damage in the components are reasonable.
