RECOGNITION OF INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE OF SUZHOU BASED ON THE URBAN FEATURES

Based on the combing of industrial development vein in Suzhou，focusing on the characteristics of industries and urban construction and development，it was analysed the connection between industrial heritage and urban features in different periods of Suzhou，it was pointed out that the recognition of industrial heritage should be combined with urban features． The unique definition of Suzhou industrial heritage was given and a qualitative and quantitative standard system was set up to recognize the industrial heritage，especially construct a quantitative evaluation model of industrial heritage's contribution to the urban features． According to this standard and method， the authors put forward a suggested list of recognition of industrial heritages in Suzhou．
