KENNETH FRAMPTON’VIEW TO REGIONAL ARCHITECTURE

To explore important influences of Kenneth Framptons architecture view on the modern architectures， Framptons philosophy and his practice strategy were perceived profoundly from his critical regional theory． It was found that based uponphenomenological philosophy，Frampton distinguished and identified the standards and elements of critical regionalism building，and on this basis it was proposed paradoxical thinking and design strategy． Framptonview of regional architecture has practical significance to contemporary regional architectural creation．
