Through direct shear test and the triaxial compression test, the influence of fiber length, fineness, toughness, and mixing ratio on the stress strain curve and shear strength of textile soil ( TEXSOL) was discussed. The research showed that the influence of fiber incorporation on soil internal friction angle was small, and it mainly improved the soil cohesion; the stress-strain relationship of TEXSOL showed strain hardening characteristic, there was no typical adhesive failure and tensile failure; the influence of fiber length, toughness, and mixing ratio on the stressstrain curve and shear strength of TEXSOL was remarkable, and that of fiber fineness relatively small.
