A comparative test was carried out between a new steel bar truss concrete superimposed two-way slab and a cast-in-situ two-way slab. It was measured that the vertical displacement,steel bar strain and crack propagation of the two slabs. By analyzing the main test phenomenon and result,the conclusion was that superimposed two-way slab stiffness and crack resistance were slightly lower than the overall site casting slab,but cracking propagation and position were almost the same. The joint configuration could realise two-way forcing of the new steel bar truss superimposed slab.
