Abstract

Abstract

Based on the analysis of old town decline，it was pointed out the significance that maintains the old townattraction． According to the function and value of urban square in the old town，it was also clarified the significancethat urban square construction to the old town regeneration． It was further analyzed the square design strategies on theurban squares layout in the old town，and the relationship to the old buildings etc．
