It is more difficult to rectity and reinforce a building tilting along long-axis direction than to rectify and reinforce the one tilting along short-axis direction. For a building tilting along long-axis direction in soft soil area,the method of drawing out soil was used for two wings and the top of the raising side,and the static press pile of anchorage was used for the overturning side,by which the tilted building was successfully rectified,and satisfactory results were obtained. Which may provide reference and experience for design and construction of rectifying and reinforcing tilted houses in similar regions.
