Based on the quasi-static test results of 7 steel reinforced recycled aggregate concrete (SRRC) columns,the method of calculation of the characteristic parameters was given and thedesignated pointbroken tri-linearrestoring force model for steel reinforced recycled aggregate concrete columns was also proposed by the theoreticalanalysis and experimental data fitting. The results show that the axial compression ratio,stirrup ratio and coarseaggregate replacement rate have little influence on the ratio of ultimate load to yield load,which approximates 0. 8.The ultimate load increases with the increase of axial compression ratio. However,the ductility decreases with theincrease of the coarse aggregate replacement rate and axial compression ratio,yet it increases as the stirrup ratioincreasing. Through the comparison between the test results and the calculated results,the restoring force model canreflect the mechanical performance of SRRC components and the results agree well with the test results,indicatingthat the restoring force model can be used for SRRC columns.
