Through introducing the idea of the integration into the design of thermal source plant's coal handling system, so as to design a unique system called integrated coal bunker(ICB), which integrates 20 single buildings of coal handling system in one building.The ICB has fully developed and utilized the three-dimensional space of the architecture, realizing the purpose of coal handling system's covering the fewest area, function's integration and artistic appearance.The ICB has also improved the efficiency of land use and reduced the cost of investment.Furthermore, it can lower the operating cost, improve the image of the thermal source plant and beautify the environment.The ICB can be used as an independent module applied to the design of other thermal power plants.
