NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF SHEAR BEHAVIOR OF STEEL RECYCLED AGGREGATE CONCRETE SHORT COLUMNS BASED ON OPENSEES PROGRAM

  • In order to study the shear behavior of the steel recycled aggregate concrete short columns and popularize the application of recycled concrete in engineering, the numerical simulations of the shear behavior of 8 steel recycled aggregate concrete short columns under low-cyclic reversed loading were carried out by OpenSees Program based on the flexure-shear interaction displacement-based beam-column element and fiber section.The influence regularity of recycled aggregate replacement ratio, axial compression ratio and volumetric stirrup ratio on the shear behavior of the steel recycled aggregate concrete short columns was analyzed.The results indicate that the shear behavior of steel recycled aggregate concrete short columns is close to that of the steel reinforced concrete short columns, and axial compression ratio and volumetric stirrup ratio have a obvious influence on the shear behavior of the steel recycled aggregate concrete short columns.Non-linear response of the steel recycled aggregate concrete short columns under the combination of compression, bending and shearing action can be simulated by means of OpenSees Program.
