Based on the tests of 9 steel reinforced recycled concrete eccentric compression columns with different recycled coarse aggregate replacement percentages and relative eccentricity under eccentric compression, the failure feature and change rule of lateral deflection of eccentric compression columns were investigated.The test results show that the stiffness of steel reinforced recycled concrete eccentric compression columns varies under different stages and has influences on the deformation feature of eccentric compression columns.The maximum deflection of steel reinforced recycled concrete eccentric compression columns increases with the increase of recycled coarse aggregate replacement percentages and relative eccentricity.Based on the test results and the simplified mechanical model of eccentric compression columns, the calculation formula of lateral deflection was derived and the calculation formula of stiffness of eccentric compression columns was also proposed.It is shown that the maximum lateral deflection calculated by the proposed formulas is in good agreement with the test value and can satisfy the calculated requirements.
