Through the experiment of the bending capacity of the corroded reinforced concrete beams before and after strengthened with CFRP sheets, the influence of the secondary load and corrosion on the load-carrying capacity and rigidity of reinforced concrete beams was discussed. The results of the study show that the load-carrying capacity and rigidity of corroded reinforced concrete beams with CFRP sheets have been improved in different degrees. The lagged strain caused by the secondary load would influence the effect of its high tensile strength. And the change of mechanical properties of the corroded reinforced concrete beams reduced the bending capacity of beams strengthened with CFRP sheets.Based on the mechanical properties of the corroded reinforced concrete beams, the numerical simulation technology of the whole bending process of the corroded reinforced concrete beams strengthened with CFRP sheets was established. The good conformity of the calculation results and the experimental results can provide reference for the reinforcement design of the corroded reinforced concrete beams in the future.
