  • Based on the design of a 442 m-long multifunctional corridor in an automobile manufactory,it was discussed the form selection and the mechanical behavior of the large-span steel truss of multiple-story which was applicable in such complex industrial corridor.The results show that the mechanical behavior of multi-span truss is similar to continuous beam in vertical load,which is mainly resisted by the the axial force of web member and chord.The hinge joint between column and chord is suitable for truss,and the stress and deformation of chord in the side direction wind load can't be ignored.
