RUPTURE ANALYSIS OF SHAFT LINING IN THE DEEP ALLUVIUM CONSIDERING THE THERMAL STRESS

  • In order to analyze the influence of vertical stress of various loads that caused the rupture of vertical shaft wall in the deep alluvium,the vertical stress components in the shaft wall were analyzed,which were produced by the thermal effect,self-weight,level lateral pressure and vertical additional stress.It was shown that the vertical additional stress and thermal stress playped important roles to lead in the rupture of shaft.It was also shown that the vertical components of thermal stress became larger with increases of internal and external wall temperature difference.And with the increase of wall thickness,the vertical additional stress had a sharp decrease,while thermal stress no significant changes.
