Based on axially compressive tests of 6 recycled concrete filled steel tube short columns and 3 common concrete filled steel tube short columns,the influence of replacement percentages of recycled aggregate and longitude to diameter ratio on compressive capacity was studied in this paper.The test results demonstrated that the recycled concrete-filled steel tube short column and common concrete-filled steel tube short column had similar deformation and failure mode.The greater the longitude to diameter ratio and replacement percentages of the recycled aggregate,the lower the compressive capacity of specimens;the formula for the calculation of the ultimate compressive capacity of common concrete filled steel tube short column was also applicable to recycled concrete filled steel tube short column.
