The establishing of sustainable residential district is critical to the sustainable development of the whole society.Currently,rapid progress has been made in the construction of such districts,however there are still some problems needed to solve urgently.It was analyzed the feature and background of these problems first,then from the design mode of ecovillage studied the effectiveness of applying such design mode to resolve these problems,and it was also proposed some specific design methods suitable for the condition of China.
