SHEAR CALCULATION METHOD RESEARCHING ON CONCRETE MEMBERS WITH HIGH-STRENGTH STIRRUP BASED ON TRUSS-ARCH MODEL

  • This paper was based on experimental research on shear capacity of concrete members confined with highstrength stirrups.The experimental result indicates that concrete members with high-strength stirrups have good seismic performances.The truss-arch model derived in this paper was used to calculate the shear capacity of concrete members confined with high-strength stirrups.The calculation results were comparable with the experimental results,and shear calculation formula of the practical theory for concrete members confined with high-strength stirrups was proposed in this paper.
