Pedestal concrete pile is by Technical Code of Building Pile Foundation.(JGJ 942008), which is a new development of concrete pedestal pile technology.This new kind of pile has the advantage of higher bearing capacity and simpler driving procedure.The higher bearing capacity derives mainly from two aspects: one is the rammed dry concrete base and the other is the compacted end bearing stratum by fillers.The bearing mechanism of this pile was expounded and practical formula of calculating bearing capacity of single pile was proposed.
