  • The bridge of linking road plays a very important role with rapid development of traffic engineerings.Dueto the reasons such as shrinkage, creep and long-term overloaded, a comprehensive test with the defects, such asarch rib deflection, concrete slab, crack, corrosion of tie bar and suspender etc was done on a CFST tied arch bridge.Based on the inspection and test results, the bridge was then strengthened with several methods.Through a period oftime after its operation, the results showed that the strengthening procedures mentioned above could effectively slowdown the existing deteriorations, these reinforcement effects were good, which could be referred by the reinforcingdesign of similar bridges.
