Based on dynamic time-history response analysis, seismic performance analysis of water intake building inthe million-kilowatt nuclear power plant was carried out.Considering rock properties and structural characteristics ofwater intake building, many combinations with different design water levels, operation and maintenance conditions, wave pressure, ice loadings, static and dynamic water pressure, earth pressure and seismic action were considered. The internal force of each section of the structure was obtained by secondary development of ANSYS and the resultscould provide theoretic evidences for the structural design of water intake building.
