STUDY ON DESIGN OF ENERGY-SAVING ROOFS OF RESIDENCE BUILDINGS IN HUNAN

  • A normal residence building in a energy-serving community in Changsha City, Hunan Province waschosen.Through the application of the model based on dynamic energy consumption stimulation softwareENERGYPLUS, the thermal environment of top-floor rooms and energy consumption of various roofings were simulatedand calculated.Through the economic analysis of all roofs, the static payback periods of all roofs were calculated.Inthe end, a designing strategy of building roofs that is suitable for Hunan area was concluded.It is hoped to improvethe poor thermal insulation quality of roofs that widely exists in Hunan area for a long time as to supply reference forthe designing of the roofs of residence buildings.
