Anchor block is one of the key structure in the externally prestressed concrete bridges, whose rationalityplays a very important role in the bridge fatigue, durability and load capacity. Taking use of the large common finiteelement program ANSYS on the actual bridge anchor block, the model was divided into several sections by the spacing 0. 2 m, by which horizontal, vertical and vertical stress contours in each section were got, then change in the crosssection stress was compared from the maximum stress path in the anchor block. Based on the pattern of the changes ofthe stress, the effect of position and thickness of anchorage on the three-directional stress in the anchor block wasconsidered, at last the reasonable anchorage structure was got, which had some references for the similar design of theanchorage system.
