EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON SEISMIC BEHAVIOR OF RECYCLED CONCRETE MEMBERS SUBJECT TO REVERSED MOMENT,SHEAR AND TORSION

  • In this paper,seismic behavior of 4 members,two of them made of recycled aggregate concrete and the other made of RC,is studied under low frequency reversed moment,shear and torsion. The failure features,the hysteresis loops and the ductility under seismic loads are comparatively investigated. The test and analyses show that the seismic behavior of members including the ductility with recycled concrete is slightly lower than that of members with conventional concrete and both of them can meet the requirements of the code for seismic design of buildings.
