It was studied the influence of Turpan natural environment on bending behavior of FRP strengthened RC beams.Eight pieces of experimental beams were made,4 beams for indoor test;the others placed outdoor,after 1 881 d natural aging,bending test was done,and the bending performances of FRP strengthened RC beams between indoor and outdoor environment were compared.The test results show that after the effects of environment,the bearing capacity,ductility and stiffness of strengthened beams have little change,damage forms are the partial peeling of GFRP U-hoops and the break of FRP tensile.Which shows that influence on the bending performance of FRP strengthened RC beams is small in Xinjiang Turpan natural conditions,where large temperature difference and strong ultraviolet ray exist.
