Experimental research on five large-scaled six-pile caps showed that pile caps under concrete wall conform to spatial truss model with concrete struts and rebar ties.The failure might be caused by splitting of concrete struts or yielding of rebar.Elasto-plastic analysis was carried out with ABQUS program,and the results were highly in accordance with the test results.
