Based on field testing of horizontal-axis wind turbine tower under two different working conditions in Wuchuan Area of Inner Mongolia,a further analysis was made by DASP system and the acceleration spectrum and characteristic frequency were obtained,then a finite element model of the tower was set up and a modal analysis was done by applying ANSYS software,taking account of the effect of engine room mass on the top of the tower.The measured results and calculated results provided a basis for avoiding resonance and further studying of structure dynamic response of wind tower,in addition,the modal data had a valuable reference for wind tower design and structural vibration control.
