EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON ROAD ENGINEERING PROPERTY OF COMPACTION PHYLLITE MATERIAL ABANDONING

  • This paper carried out the experimental study on road engineering property of compaction phyllite material abandoning in the southwest area of China.The experiment results indicated that the broken structure phyllite pieces played a leading role in changes of particle gradation of compacted material;and the phyllite mixture was easy to be compacted, but the compaction had noteworthy deformation characteristics.The phyllite material abandoning had highly decentralized characteristics and was extremely collapsed in water.Based on the above characteristics, the effective measures should be carried out, when phyllite material abandoning was to be used to embankment fill and the characteristics should be studied further.
